Hens and Chickens for sale
We are REALLY passionate about poultry at Happy Chicks. A 'happy chick' is brought up differently here to anywhere else. Sarah. working with our vet, personally administers all vaccinations. From the earliest age possible (depending on the time of year, usually 6 weeks) the hens are able to free range at all times. They are all fed ad-lib exactly the feeds they should be at each step of their growth, giving them the best start ensuring a long laying life'
Very importantly all these put together mean we do NOT NEED TO TRIM BEAKS, something only necessary where the hens are kept in stressful unnatural circumstances.
The difference really shows in the hens
After turning people away for a long time we have now found a company we can use to deliver our hens. We have several phone calls a day asking for delivery thorughout the uk and now finally have the confidence the to send them. This new company has been transporting birds for many years and have the experience that is needed is hens are making a long journey.
