Healthcare of Calves
Healthcare of calves is similar to most young livestock. Worming is essential and ground rotation methods should be used where possible. Calves and adult cattle suffer with fly problems so this should be treated with the appropriate repeller.
If you are breeding or rearing calved its worth considering vaccination. This protect your cattle in long run stops future problems.

Our Cattle
We now have 9 Calves
Babe, Mental, Angus, Buttons, Dood, Milky, Daisy, SpotS and Penquin.
They make great pets as we only got them as babies and we have already taught them to walk with us around the farm. They are all quite special and we plan to breed of most of them. I have tried to convince the husband that mine - Daisy should be aloud to wear a straw hat with flower in it - but he's yet to agree!!
Our Calves are currently on Milk powder and Course Calf mix but eventually they will be living on our field munching on grass all day!
