The Poland is an unusual and beautiful bird. They do look rather strange with their big hair do! These are my daughters favorite and are very commical just pottering around the garden. They lay quite a few little white eggs (150 per year) - very tasty!! But egg laying is not their priority in the morning!! They have got their hair to do!
Sorry its not the best picture - i cant go into their pen without them running at me wanting a cuddle!! (Poiish are always next to your feet!) We have many colours of Polish hens please call for details

i've had patsy (my white silkie) & edinna ( my black polish)for just over a month now and they are real characters. patsy,so called because she seems a typical party girl as she's always the last to get up & last to bed! they are best of pals. Raquel (sussex) is the boss & most inquizitive, closley followed by Marlene (bluebell)who is the friendliest. Mavis (speckledy)is a bit of a ditherer & rita ( blacktail)is a fiery red head who charges around everywhere and looks really funny! i love them all. Really good advise from sarah who sorted me out with everything i need for my six girls. i'm looking forward to the chicken course on saturday.
