Our new chickens are great, 2 blue rangers and 2 speckledys. They have settled in really well with our Orpingtons and are really friendly. Thankyou

We got our Speckledy delivered on 21st February along with two white stars and a blackrock - all three weeks old. Settled in reasonably well and are now spending their days out in the converted playhouse but coming in at night. Had a few problems initally with bullying of the Speckledy, i.e. feather pecking by the leader of the pack (Bandit) but after some advice from Sarah (separation) and some light head taping on return to the others seems to have been sorted out. Ironic really as the ringleader was the chick squished at the bottom of the delivery box who were felt sorry for & the smallest of the bunch!

I bought Elsie last November as a pol. It is now March and she is laying about 6 eggs a week. She has a lovely nature apart from trying to take the palm of my hand as well as the titbits. This seems to bother me more than her, as it is totally unintentional. Lovely little lady.
