Also suitable for Ducks. We now produce two forms of Verm-X for Poultry keepers. We started with the very successful liquid formulation that is fed by adding to the drinking water, it is perfectly OK to soak some bread with the Verm-X liquid too and feed it to your birds that way. However many clients with free range birds have found that feeding Verm-X in the water may not be very precise as their birds may drink from other water sources especially if it has been raining! So we have come up with a very convenient pellet that can be fed by sprinkling on the top of normal poultry feed.

Apple Cider Vinegar (2.5L) (Coccidiosis prevention & tonic for sick hens)

2.5 ltr of apple cider vinegar for adding to poultry drinking water. A great addition to Chicken Health A totally natural and organic, anti-bacterial, anti-coccidial anthelmintic and tonic which has beneficial effects for all livestock and poultry. Improves egg supply, improves feathering and improves flavouring and tenderness of meat birds. If you put a table spoon per litre this will help out any sniffles that your hens may have.

Citricidal ™ Liquid Grapefruit seed extract

Extract of grapefruit seed has been tested and validated by the FDA and Pasteur Institute in France it has been used for many years as a natural anti-viral to cure colds. You simply add one or two drops to a pint of water. It is a good anti-bacterial and can be used diluted to clean the chicken house too! Safe for human use.

6 X Virkon S Disinfectant (incubator / hatching eggs chicken house)

Virkon S is a DEFRA approved disinfectant, and is active against viruses such as those that cause Bird Flu - so if you are concerned about epidemics and pandemics, Foot and Mouth Disease, Bird Flu etc, this is the product to go for. 

Approved by DEFRA against diseases of poultry order at a dilution of 1:280. Manufacturer's recommendation is to use it at 1:100. Completely safe for use around all animals and birds, in fact they can walk through it in a footbath too!

Probably the most versatile disinfectant, it can be applied on to the animal, its house, or surroundings and will kill viruses, fungi and bacteria quicker and at lower doses than most other products. It is powerful yet safe to use with animals and around the home. Simple to mix and instantly ready to use. 

We would suggest using Rubber Gloves or disposable Latex Gloves.

Gentian Violet 240ml (anti pecking and antiseptic spray) chickens hens and ducks

A non-aerosol purple spray for treating minor wounds on all birds and animals. Also stops feather pecking. As this turns everything it touches purple would suggest using Rubber Gloves or disposable Latex Gloves.
