Mixed Corn 20kg
Based on 1 customer reviews
Mixed Corn is an appetising blend of English wheat and cut maize which can be fed to all kinds of poultry, waterfowl and bantams to complement a fully balanced diet of pellets or mash.
- Ideally fed as a treat in the afternoon, Mixed Corn provides carbohydrate and fibre calories which are digested by the bird overnight. This helps maintain body temperature which is particularly beneficial during the winter months.
- Can be scattered on the floor of the pen to help satisfy the birds' instinct to scratch and peck.

I had a hen that was quite broody. I maerkd the eggs that she was setting on with a sharpie marker so I could remove the ones laid by other hens. I guess she didn't like the smell of the marker because she got off of them and never went back. After my rooster died she got very broody again. I had ordered some chicks, and by keeping them in a brooder pen next to where she was setting (on ceramic eggs) she decided to adopt them all. Now she is a proud mama and is showing them the best places to find bugs and even attacks my labrador when she wanders too close to her babies.
